Traditional Music Event
The Babes in the Woods are available for events in the Bay Area, either as the whole quartet or in duo/trio form depending on our schedules. We will play traditional and traditional-sounding tunes to help create a lovely atmosphere for your event.
Classical Music Event
I am happy to arrange solo, or duo classical events with guitar+cello or piano+cello.
Song lists can be sent on request.
Rates
I charge $90 per musician per hour for events, plus a travel fee that will be determined based on your event location and a $30 organization fee. There is a minimum fee of $100 per musician. E-mail me for a specific quote for your event and to determine availability.
Information you should know
If your event is outside, it is necessary that our instruments be protected!! Sun can badly damage wooden instruments, causing cracking, splitting of seams, and damage to the finish. Damp/rain is also bad. As our instruments are multi-thousand dollar investmens, we can't afford to play your event if it will damage them. Please carefully consider the conditions of your event. If we cannot play due to conditions, we are still due full fees for the event.
